This week I have been trying to make a constant effort to wake up a bit earlier, kinda plan my outfits in advance, hoping to avoid running around like a mad woman every morning. So far so good, I am not running for the train every morning, its more like a really quick brisk walk. Slowly but surely I am getting there.
Now, I hate the feeling when your walking in the morning and you catch a glimpse of yourself in a window reflection or a mirror and look at what you’re weaing and you think to yourself “WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?” And usually at that point its too late. Well that was me today. Horrible, absolutely horrible. I did not wear the proper under garments for the pants I was wearing. My shirt, I swear the hubby put in the dryer so it felt very fitted (and not the sexy fitted) The entire thing was wrong wrong wrong!
Luckily I walked by a Suzy Shier and thought what the heck, lets give it a try. I saw this fab little lacey-racey number for $40 and thought… what a steal. Lace really is one of those things, that truely never gets old. And when they do, they become trendy vintage looking pieces. Double whammy fammy! Timeless is the finest. (That kinda rhymes, right?)
Hmmm now i’m thinking I should do more DIY with lace like this one now https://paritatime.com/2012/06/06/diy-peekaboo-top/. It only makes sense and its such easy material to work with. Food for thought.
Heart, star.
